It’s official! I’m now Mrs. Jessica Ugaitafa!!
I can’t believe it’s December already. Our one-month wedding anniversary came and went and we’re slowly getting back into the groove of things. Since I have such a hard time remembering things, I decided to take up a tiny space on the web to create a small memory for myself. I’ll always be able to come back here and remember.
I woke up to my sister shouting “happy-wedding-day-sissy!!!”.
I had a Chunky Strawberry Topper *sub peanut butter for peaches* from Jamba Juice for breakfast. Well, sort of, I barely ate it.
I made a promise to myself. I promised to
not be a maniac bride do everything in my power not to stress out, but more importantly, to live in the moment.
My sister blasted “Let’s Get Married” (Remix) on the way to the venue. One of the many reasons I love her.
I got ready alongside my best friends and I must say they all looked stunning!
It was 90 degrees and gorgeous out.
I realized wedding dresses should have tiny built-in fans. We laid a tower fan on the floor and I stood over it to keep cool.
Tony and I decided to do a First Look. I will cherish that little moment forever.
The only time I got anxious was while I was waiting for my cue to walk down the aisle. My heart was racing and I felt like I was going to pass out! My dad said “don’t lock your knees when you get down the aisle.” and then handed me a glass of water. I guess I should have finished my breakfast!
Both of my dads walked me down the aisle. It was amazing having them both there by my side <3
I promised forever to my best friend.
I didn’t lock my knees during the ceremony
We became Mr. & Mrs. in front of our closest family and friends.
We danced to “Spend My Life With You” for the first time as a married couple. It was amazing.
Our hearts were touched by beautiful and heartfelt speeches. We toasted with champagne…Cristaaahhhl to be exact.
We went a little crazy in the photobooth, but not as crazy as the kids. Click here for the photobooth shenanigans.
We danced until they kicked us out. Not joking.
32 days ago was hands down, the best day of my entire life. It was magical, and even better than I imagined it to be. I’m so thankful for our day and the love that we felt. Our family and friends are truly amazing and our day was made unforgettable because of them.
Above is one of my favorite pictures from the day. Our photographer, she’s the best. Truly. Ah, we just love her. Visit her blog to see photos from our day.
