They met in high school. He was a senior and she was a junior. They never dated due to the fact that she was in a relationship. After Mark graduated he moved to Northern California to attend college, but they kept in touch over the summer. Megan started her senior year and was assigned to organize the homecoming dance. There was just one problem. She was newly single and didn’t have a date. Mark flew down and they went to homecoming together. They have been together since.
On a beautiful Southern California day, in Big Bear, Megan and Mark hung out in front of my camera. It was pretty amazing. Here are a few of my favorites…
Megan and Mark’s dog Bryn joined in on the fun! Oh and if you’re wondering, yes, Bryn is smiling!!
Oh, Megan…you’re stunning. Truly.
And then THIS happened and I just about died.
One of my favorite things about Megan and Mark is their ability to laugh and have a good time. To them, life is all about adventure.I’m so glad Megan’s mother suggested they incorporate this quilted heirloom into their session. Megan’s fourth great-aunt handmade this beauty in 1929!!
How freaking adorable is their little family?!!
I’m SO excited for their wedding next July! 1, I get to hang out with them again. 2, I know their wedding is going to be gorgeous. And 3, I can’t wait to photograph all of Megan’s DIY details.
A huge thank you to Nicole! Thanks for tagging along boo <3!!!
